Liberal to Chicago
The next day I woke up at 7:00 giving me a grand total of seven hours of sleep that night, or morning. I had a small bowl of Raisin Bran and small cup of apple juice, a disappointing breakfast. As we left I felt satisfied with the overnight. Our next stop was Kansas City, MO/KA where dad and Rudy wanted to have BBQ. On the flight I finished ‘Hellboy’ before going back to sleeping and reading. The BBQ lunch ended up being amazing. I had great ribs. We always try to go to Kansas City for BBQ, which I like because it helps plan other stops. Then we went to a Dairy Queen. It was a little disappointing but we lived. At the FBO I earned another candy bar point make it 2-0 in my favor. I enjoyed going to Kansas City. Out next stop was Chicago, IL. There are no pictures taken by me because my phone ran out of battery. I was excited to go to Chicago because we have tried to go there multiple times but gotten shut out by weather. As my brother put it, “It’s like New York but less crowded.” Chicago was very nice and worth the wait. We got an amazingly nice hotel room, but Rudy and I had to share a fold out couch bed. I finished “Iron Man” which I had started on the flight. We also went to a Chipotle which made me very happy, we hadn’t seen one until that day. We also went to Millennium Park where a concert was going on and we walked around the Cloud Gate.
